PIZZAS
Frankino brings to you pizzas made exclusively with premium quality ingredients. The flours come from the mill Mulino Marino in Cossano Belbo, where the ancient stone grinding method is used. By using this old method -also called "cold grinding"- all the natural and biological flours are able to keep their taste unaltered.
Frankino's menu counts more than 70 pizzas: the search for new and unusual ingredients is constant, in order to offer tasty news to the customers. Massive attention is also paid to people with food intolerances and/or allergies.
Frankino, in fact, offers a variety of special flours (kamut, spelt, etc), coming from biological farmings: these are the best solution for all of those who usually can't eat pizza because of their intolerance to wheat, missing the taste of such a delicious dish that became a real pride for Italy worldwide.
THE LANGA CUISINE
The highlight of the restaurant pizzeria "da Frankino" is represented by the Langa cuisine that reflects the flavors and smells of the area to which it belongs. The restaurant, in fact, uses fresh produce from the surrounding area.
Thus the classics of Piedmontese cuisine are proposed, from the ravioli "al plin" typical of the Asti Langa, to the tagliatelle with mushrooms, and then from the renewed appetizers such as the Albese raw meat to an evergreen classic dessert like the "bonet", made accordingly to our grandmothers recipe. All of this is mixed up with a pinch of innovation and a touch of creativity: a truly extraordinary mix!
THE WINES
The choice among wines is wide and it would satisfy even the most exigent customers. Particular attention is given to the wines of Langa and Monferrato: the Barbera d'Asti and Monferrato, Dolcetto delle Langhe, Barolo, Nebbiolo and Barbaresco. We can also mention the Arneis, Gavi and Chardonnay among the most delicate white wines. Obviously there is also a wide selection of wines coming from other regions of Italy.
OTHER DISHES
For all the people who like the sea and its flavors, the restaurant pizzeria "Da Frankino" serves delicious seafood appetizers: carpaccio marinated swordfish, mussels marinara, octopus with potatoes and many other dishes with fresh fish. In addition, fresh hand-made pasta, and main courses like mixed fried fish, grilled prawns, sea bass baked in foil. And then sweets such as hazelnut cake and the "mon" Piedmontese, highly appreciated by many foreigners who visit the beauties of our land appreciating the flavors of the typical products.
